My m8 wants 2 join fod but he cant get a name without it being stupid like 1234Paul1234 could there be like a policy like if the names register doesnt get used afta a specific name it gets un registered like has n e 1 seen the name Paul used n e where or even just Mike the only name which is normal which i see is chris which is used by jimmy white

exactly mike, although u made a mistake with ur grammar :P he meant deleted after a period of time this would be very useful as i have 3000 names and i cant think of any more e-mail addys i have either. all the other sites like this do it ty - SP - p.s. i suggest maybe 60 days ?
Choose a different name. Simple as that. I don't think we've come to the point where we're running out of names as such, but I can see a future where we get mighty close. Obviously if you have subscribed you have no worry about your name ever being removed: but non-subscribers names should be purged every once in a while. I feel a debate coming on.

No chance. You get enough for paying your money already, taking non-subscribers names is definately not fair. I wasn't intending to subscribe, but I got talked into it. I'd be unhappy if someone had decided to subscribe as

I agree with the 120 days idea, that seems logical to me. But the point you made was as you put it:

I'm against the fact that unsubscribers can get their names taken away because it will create the same sense you get when you play on yahoo, trying to squeeze every penny from you. Also, if a subsciber doesn't like an unsubscriber, they can just create an account named what the unsubscriber's is and delete their account, just to get even.
