sometimes u just have to hit n  hope in 8ball
if ya snookerd or something u just gotta do it & sometimes u get lucky & sometimes u dont
it happens a lot more in 9ball than it does 8ball

In 8 ball i think its fine to do, because sometimes you

 to, but in 9... i really dislike it when someone hits and hopes in 9 

It's a part of the game.

In my opinion if the ball goes down it's a valid shot: fluke or not. At one time or another we've all either fluked a pot or had one fluked against us, if you allow that to get to you, you're taking this whole thing far too seriously.

When your as bad as me all you can do it HIT AND HOPE:-P

What makes me madder than people who "Hit and Hope" or "Hope Shooters" are people like you, who complain about it.  Come on, we all have gotten lucky at some point or another.  If you say you haven't, you lie simple as that. 

All my games are flukes, I never have any idea about what I am doing.

  What can anyone do about it?  In the bar...you have to call your shot...not the pocket...the shot...every little detail...straight in...off another ball...how many rails...etc...if it doesn't go like you call it...it's the other person's shot.  You can't do that here...it just lets you go on.  I don't know anyone who cries when they get lucky in 8 ball in here.  
As for nine ball...as long as you make a legal hit on the correct ball...anything after that is good to go...those are the rules of nine ball...nine ball is alot about slop.(flukes as you guys say)  It's part of the game. Live with it.  The fact of the matter is this...this isn't pool, it's a video game.  It's LIKE pool...but it isn't.  I wouldn't play real pool with the rules that they have in here myself...but I have a good time playing the games in here anyway.  Until such time as fod makes some kind of a "call your shot" "call your pocket" kinda option, that's the way it's going to be.  If you ask me call your pocket is just as much slop as "fluking" one in.  Get over it, and have fun.  Your life doesn't start and end in the fod game room ferchrissakes.
