Look for TANK-Masters post in this page "got Spyware".Download and run that, and see if it helps.

Thanks peter01 tried the spyware software and it didn't stop it. However system restore has done the trick. 
The window applets were a bl00dy pain. You'd get two letters typed and they'd pop up again or every time you went to take a shot they'd appear and you'd have to start setting your shot up again. Anyway seems to be ok for now.

Get a popup blocker if you dont have one. You can set many or them to just some windows come up that you know are ok. and if you cant set it you can press Ctrl when you know one will be coming and it will come up.

It has a setting listed under Tools (Resident)in the bottom box on the right click it so that it is on. This is Resident"teaTime"(Protection of over-all system settings) active  It will ask you if any settings on your computer have been changed if you would like to keep the new setting and it tells you what the old setting is aswell as the new setting.

The box above that should have a check in it to Resident"SDHelper"(Internet Explorer bad download blocker) active.
When installing SpybotSearch&Destroy to get full use of all the tools you have to select the advanced install (

BUT please dont use any of the tools or settings if you dont know what you are doing, it can mess your comp up
