Use spin.

Its not all about making the shot. You need to think about your next shot. Mkaing 1 ball each turn just wont get it done.

To become very good is probably hard work. The better you want to play the harder you have to work.
 
Take practice, take practice, take practice.

Try to control the cueball:
- play as smooth as possible
- imagine before the shot where the cueball should delay   
- take the easiest shot possible
- take spin only if necessary
- have fun about your misses
