This suggestion has been raised by you on several occasions over the years and has already been discussed previously.  While we appreciate your continued feedback, there is no new information or proposal here that would change the previous discussions.

The current tournament system already applies a consequence when a player exceeds the permitted timeout: their tournament score is finalised and they cannot continue participating.  Whether additional penalties or rule changes are introduced is a matter for the developers.

As this is a repeat of an existing suggestion, there is nothing further to add at this time.  If the tournament rules are reviewed or changed in the future, they will be announced through the usual official channels.
