Is there any way to play backgammon here without being subjected to doubling ? I'd like to play without it. It turns friendly games into angry ones. And,... if I should double, some people stop playing and I sit for two minutes. Or I'd like to decline the double once I'm locked into a game. It's not right to be penalized points just to try and finish a game. Any thoughts on this ?

Good evening, tableman. I understand your frustration with the doubles, but that's the rule. A player can double if they wish. And if you refuse the double, the opponent wins the game and the match ends. Doubles are only not allowed in backgammon tournaments. Have a good evening and happy gaming!
