There shall be NO-MOVE!
Oh, nooooooooooooo!

What have we done?
We must be out of our minds.

Presenting:
8-Ball Pub Mode
!
Still with zero real alcohol.

This must be how it would have felt if Godot had finally arrived.

You can even choose a variant to suit your taste.

And it costs literally just one pint a month.

No-Move / Two Tries

After a foul that would normally award ball in hand, the incoming player gets a
First Try
instead of full ball in hand.

Additionally, after a scratch, the cue ball is in hand behind the head string, under the normal head-string restrictions.

If a legal First Try would normally end the player's turn, they get a
Second Try
.

Exception:
Two Tries are not awarded when the player is on the black while the opponent still has object balls.

Pro mode

No Second Try is awarded if an uncalled ball is pocketed, or if the called ball is pocketed in the wrong pocket.

If no ball is pocketed, or safety was called, the Second Try still applies.

Additional clarifications

• Whether a foul would normally award ball in hand is still determined under WPA rules. For example, an illegal open break does not award full ball in hand, while an ordinary ball-in-hand foul on an open table does.

• When the cue ball is in hand behind the head string, WPA Rule 6.11 applies. An object ball behind the head string cannot be hit directly. If all legal target balls are behind the head string, the one closest to it is spotted.

• With the same-pocket and opposite-pocket variants, the black pocket is based on the pocket where the last ball from the player's own group—solids or stripes—was pocketed. The two players may therefore have different designated pockets for the black.

• In Pro mode, to receive a Second Try, the player must either pocket no ball or call safety before the shot.

You guys should get rid of the double impact rule! That's the only rule that ruins the game of Pro Rules! They could do a survey among the players; nobody likes this rule, and it doesn't make sense!
I second this, the double hit is really frustrating and is no where near realistic
First, I totally disagree to make pool without ball in hand just because most of the players don't like this rule!
They should read and respect the rules, and in pool you should not change the rules with whatever knows what!
The official rules should be applied and everyone needs to know these, otherwise you basically don't know to play it!
Second, I agree to have NO double hit! If this would be indeed realistic, why FlyOrDie developers would not do the jump shots! It's Very hard to know if it's or not a double hit!
Third, I want to say that it should be better to do at least once in a month public tournaments. Everyone wants to play, not only the ones who pay! In this way, more people will start to play and participate in tournaments, being motivated!
That's all, I hope everything will be ok with this site!
P.S Could you put Caram on the site?😁
Good one.

And now let's implement 2v2. :)

And mute spectators as in board games.

I mean it's a cool idea but very difficulty to understand all the various rules, I'm sure a lot of people will get very confused.

Also... any chance of fixing the blackball rules?
