What The…
I was just playing a game of checkers and suddenly the game ended and stated that my opponent has claimed a draw, the game ended in a draw. So now all I have to do is claim a draw and the game is a draw? That makes no sense.
Hi Stevie Jay,

Draw
The game is drawn when there is no capture or promotion to king for 50 pairs of consecutive moves.
The game is drawn automatically if there is no winner after 300 moves (150 each).

A new checkers variant called "draughts 64" has also been added. Check out the forum post by "catsgirls" which includes rules for "draughts 64 " - >

I have had games reach a draw before because of what you say there. This was different. It stated that the other player had claimed a draw. How does a player “claim a draw”?
