Is there a way to chat with other players in game or is the forum the only way to do it? I played this game some 20 odd years ago and thought there was in game chat

hi...yes you can chat with other players in the lobby or in a game if they have a demerit point you cant chat to that player/players hope this helps..enjoy the games
Hello "Holtrick", Yes, there is indeed an integrated chat, both in the lobby and during matches. A quick note: when a player receives a penalty point (demerit), they can no longer type in the public chat, but it's still possible to contact them privately. In this specific case, using private messages also helps avoid giving the impression of an endless monologue, flooding the lobby with messages, or spamming.
