PC/Mac
to mute a player click on their nickame. then on the bottom of the screen the   🚫 icon. 

If you are using a smartphone or tablet, tap on the player you wish to block. 
In the centre you will see a circle with a diagonal line through it. Tap on it, and and the player will be muted.
