Greetings Folks. If you want to play TANX again and have the Microsoft Edge Browser then follow the steps below. 1. Open The Microsoft Edge Browser. 2. Click on Options in the top right of the Browser (3 Small Dots). 3. Click on the Settings option. 4. Search for IE Mode in the Search Box. 5. Scroll down until you see ''Allow sites to be reloaded in internet explorer mode (IE Mode). 6. Set the option to ''Allow''. 7. Load up www.Flyordie.com/tanx 8. Login to the game. 9. Install the FlyOrDie Java Plugin when it prompts you asking you to (it might say it won't work after you install it but ignore that message if it pops up, I had that and it worked for me anyway). 10. Reload the website after you've installed it and done the above. You should now be able to connect to Tanx on your Edge Browser. Microsoft stopped Support for the old Internet Explorer Browser so this is why we have to use the IE Mode that's built into the Edge Browser. Hopefully this works for you folks, works for me on Windows 11 and it should work on other Windows Versions with Edge as Internet Explorer was discontinued and now we have to use Edge instead. This IE Mode enables the browser to load FOD as if it were using Internet Explorer. This also works for Darts on www.flyordie.com/darts. Kind Regards, Jeff.

Wouldve been nice to play again, especially if the creators of the game change it a bit, add T-Bots to the online servers so we can adjust our ratings like others shooting games do currently and get some worth attention from the community, I dont even know if they excist anymore and just use the online server for a easy money grind and dont updates it except changing forums and accountability updates, Tho Get Boulder Dash back with a update or idk get some online server for outdated 90s and 00s games will be nice. Just a nice thought.

My buddies andI were trying to get back on tanx and We tried those steps, definely no luck on this one. If anyone have better steps, please let me know. Would appreicate it thank you.

Its at a point where the only way to actually get on (on my end) is the old PC version. You can actually still download it but then you need to be subbed to play.. lmao. I can't remember the last time I got on and played, think it was with Trainor like two years ago now. You can find it by searching on google ''FlyOrDie Tanx Installer Download or Tanxinstall.exe Download Solware''. You can download it on cnet and software informer websites still. I'm the one who made this thread ..and that EDGE method doesn't work for me anymore now either lol I can only play if I use the download version.

Hey Danny. I'm rarely on these days bud. Dad was diagnosed with Stage 1 Lung C back in November. He had his operation last month which went well, the disease (Stage 2 at time of the OP) is gone however there were several complications and he has been in hospital since. He got out for a few days and ended up back in Hospital with a collapsed lung so yeah, sadly things haven't been the best. I login fod some days and play like one or two games of either 8ball or quick snooker and just get off, don't have anywhere near the amount of time I once did.
