played about 6 people today and 5 quit. 3 of them after 1 end. i come on this site to play the game, win or lose. fed up of my rating dropping because of people quitting as soon as they take the lead. all quitters should automatically lose. they are spoiling the game

You'll be able to set the number of ends if you: 1. Pay the small annual subscription 2. Wait a few months until you "have 3 dots on your dice", rather than the 1 you have at present.
Or you can choose to play only players that have a set number of ends. If the ends are not set, someone can leave after one end, makes sense.
I am new here. I played nine games tonight and actually all of my opponenents quitted! How are the rules? If for example I am leading 3-1 and quit, do I still win 3-1 - or do I Loose?
As long as you complete the end you're in and the number ends are not set, you can leave and take the win.
Ok, thanks for the answer, so if one just quits the end, he has the right to leave the match ;) Now I understand why I Loose even if the opponent quits (if he has more points then me)...even that personally I find that the one who quits should loose :p

If there are no number of ends set {you can tell by a number beside the person you are challenging, or in the little box that pops up if you are challenged.} Then you can leave at the conclusion of every end without penalty.
