New table format
I have played on this site for 10 years now, under 3 different nics.
For me, the new format table and graphics have ruined both 8 ball and snooker.
Any chance we could get the old tables back?

I think better, more of challenge now. Were in 2011 now not 2001, we have foul and miss rule + free ball and alot more realistic. I think the power is an issue though maybe i just need to get used to it although pos was never my strong point :p
I agree too but no chance to see old version back ..
Im afraid theres no chance for it to happen.
yea, to be honest, i prefer the old style too :S
No chance of getting it back, as it has not even been taken away.
Play that one if you prefer that one. Simple, isn't it.
Checking option "Boost power" will give you exactly the same power as in the old version.
Ok, I would like to know your'e reasons as to why "i prefer the old version" or "the new format table and graphics have ruined both 8 ball and snooker."

If we receive constructive criticism, i.e why you prefer old version etc then the development team may take your thoughts on board.

absolutely hate this new format , loved playing quick snooker on a snooker table not a pool table , totally gutted please change it back
I like the new format of snooker. It's more challenging now with better graphics.Gameplay wise you have to think about where leaving cueball..where as on old you'd be tied up on a cushion and still be able to create backspin. Thumbs up to the FOD team :D
You have to move with the times. With the new version the graphics and gameplay is much better. This has been said by the majority of players i've spoken to. To go back to old version would be like me throwing away my Playstation 3 and digging up my Sega Master System.
theres only about 20-30 players coz everyone dont know how enter old version
>>>To go back to old version would be like me throwing away my Playstation 3 and digging up my Sega Master System.

Nothin wrong with going back to the Master System every once in a while :D, same could be said for Snooker but im gonna stick with the new version for now.
Long table for Quick snooker and it would be perfect.

Graphics are really good
ok. now i've had time to play the new format, i do think it is an improvement. i like the graphics, the 'replay shot' feature (stops those naughty cheats), the realism of the spin (no backspin when up against rail), but especially the points left/required feature.... because my maths is awful!!

fair play, fod! it took a little getting used to, but i love the new look!

Find it hard to believe people prefer the new version. Although pool players will love it. Pockets like buckets. Never more than 1 inch away from a pocket. In-offs a plenty, and some wild potting angles the like of which you would never see.

And the 'in the face' cushion shot, still works. Which it shouldn't do.

The running is all wrong and it's now easier to pot and easier to lose a game from way out in front. The old format so much better.
