I am 6-4 up, won four ends but rating goes down. How?
I played six ends, won four ends and was 6-4 but my rating goes down from 162 to 159.

How is this possible?

You probably play with players who have low raiting, better not play again because when u play with low raiting must win high and after not get many points....
"How is this possible?"

It's because you're an idiot.

 - check out the "rating calculator"
Dynamike, please leave and never come back....so tired of your constant complaining...if you do not like the way the game is played on here...don't play!
the only way to change things is to complain in numbers
change what? the rating system works very well, if you don't want to have your rating decrease if you win 6-4, then don't play an opponent with a significantly lower rating.

it's not that complicated
yup.

do you whine about everything this much in real life?
I bet you don't run around calling everyone whiners in real life.

Anyway, what I was getting at is the rating system does not work "very well" as you suggested. For starters, if you actually curl, you'd realize taking one with hammer should be penalized, not rewarded like it is with this system.
So here is what you do:

1) You get a membership (or become eligible to set the number of ends)
2) You decide to play 4 or 6 ends or whatever
3) When you force your opponent to take 1, you can the hammer in the next end, score multiple points and then your rating goes up

it isn't that complicated
thats not a solution 604....you keep failing to realize that holding your opponent to 1 is a good thing when they have the hammer and you shouldn't lose points for it. Your lack of comprehension in this matter leads me to believe you don't really curl outside of this computer game.
forcing the opponent to 1, is good, but the opponent should still be rewarded with ranking points.

taking one is a pretty neutral situation, but given that they have lost the right of the hammer away, advantage is back to the person who forced who now has a chance to score with the hammer. it is a good setup with the points at the moment.
#1) I do curl in real life
#2) I watch the Scotties, Brier, Olympics, etc every year
#3) You need to stop complaining about everything
Maybe you could stop parading around as the forum police.
Actually, I'm the idiot police.

And you are guilty.
Grow up. Don't kids learn to express themselves without name-calling at 15 or so?

Really guys - can you do anything other than bitch and whine? This game is FREE. If you don't like it, stop playing.

I promise - we wont miss you.
I have 9 points. I stay on 0. and I won 10 points but have 0. why.
Last I checked 604, this was a forum for feedback.

Believe me, no one would miss your presence on this forum. Are you the mother of the game creator or something?
