There are so many players focusing on rating that game itself start to loose it's best side - friendlines. I propose to make penalties for those who leaves game early - while end is not finished. So leaver of the game get some penalty points, like -20 in his rating.

-20 points it is too much. Players may have problems with computer or net connections. Maybe another proposal: 1) first "quiting from the game" in last 7 days have standard score: -1 point (anyone can have sometimes technical problems); 2) second and third "quiting" in last 7 days: -real score (for example -3 or -4 points); 3) every next "quiting": -10 points
It has to be solwed finaly, quiting game without penalties. It can not be so dificult to give -10 or even -20 rating ponts if game quitted while the end is not finished.... I dont care if somebody cares about his rating but it makes the game itself to make me mad instead of giving some pleasure if somebody leaves hame before last stone.....
