Been a long time since I made this account but I'm pretty sure when you make an account you get an email sent to the email you gave. You have to follow the link on this email to activate your account. It could be that you didn't receive your email because you typed it wrong, I've done this before when I chnged from a .com email address to a .co.uk :p

If it isn't in your inbox try looking in your junk mail, and if it is in your junk box, press 'allow sender' button (or whichever button it is depending on what email provider you use), this will mean any future emails from FOD will go to your inbox instead :)
