bad sever or something
I have been playing for about a month - in the last week the game has gone really crap - I think there must be a bug in your server or something as loads of things go wrong - half the time it doesn't register who you want to play an the whole set up has become incredibly SLOW!!!!!!! UNLESS YOU SORT IT OUT LOTS OF PEOPLE WILL START TO LEAVE THANKS
The problem you have highlighted cannot be fixed because:

1 - "i lost" is insufficient Information
2 - You failed to follow instructions for reporting error
and what about glitches in the games? just a few minutes ago i've been playing gomoku - and my opponent somehow won having only 4 crosses in a row :|
such as their browser type, java version (and type), Operating System, chipset type, graphics card, and drivers used, along with an accurate description of their problem instead of just posting "its broken" then it might help....

lol @ posting all those things..it will take ages, and i doubt that even 10% of FOD costumers know such a things about their comp.
If you went into the doctors and said "im broken, fix me", do you think the doctor will be able to...well the asnwer is NO. First you have to describe the symptoms, in as much detail as possible, with as much information as you are able to provide that relates to it, so the doctor can correctly diagnose your problem, and decide whether to give you the blue pill or the red pill.

Perhaps if people actually posted something useful, such as their browser type, java version (and type), Operating System, chipset type, graphics card, and drivers used, along with an accurate description of their problem instead of just posting "its broken" then it might help....
Each time something important is updated, such as Java updates or major browser upgrades there is a lot of hidden work going on too to ensure that the games are still playable with the new platforms.

java updates ? browser upgrades ? why does everyone keep getting disconnected then, getting black screen, getting bugs in games ( even in pool now - look billiards forum )
?:|
"still chris..if we forget darts..what we got in last few years?"

You have actually got far more than that. The reason you all complain is because the vast majority of updates that take place are not visible to you.

Each time something important is updated, such as Java updates or major browser upgrades there is a lot of hidden work going on too to ensure that the games are still playable with the new platforms.

Of course, none of you want to hear that, because you only care about the things you can see, and it never occurs to you that if the updates done behind the scenes were not done, then you would not be able to play some of the games at all!!
I can't believe you would say that!!! :(

me neither :( still trying my best to get 4 dots :(
some crap dice

I can't believe you would say that!!! :(
Exactly, we don't know how many resources were put into darts - there may have been no spare resources for updates in other games.

I'm not denying that the bugs and other issues should be sorted in billiards and other games but saying that FOD
never
listens to us is entirely wrong, myself, I'm actually quite impressed with the effort FOD has put into dealing with issues that are raised on the forum the past few weeks. Long may it continue ;)
>if we forget darts
ya... but you can't forget about darts. they probably spent the last few months working on getting it ready for the site.

still chris..if we forget darts..what we got in last few years? FODBall and some crap dice LOL!
>dude your waisting ur breath complaining about any thing on fod..they never take notice..and if u persist u will get banned or ur complaint ignored or removed from this forum.

Not true, a lot of things have actually been listened to and dealt with, some, of course have yet to be fixed (i.e. bugs in billiards).

People complained about the lack of new games a year or so ago, they gave us FOD ball. They now have given us darts. We suggested changes to certain things in darts, many which have been done extremely quickly. I complained about the Darts forum having the approval system a few weeks back, a few hours later the system was removed.

FOD ain't perfect by a long shot but they do react to suggestions and complaints sometimes, as long as you post them in a reasonable manner (Not hurling expletives at FOD every chance you get). If like you said every person who complains gets banned, I wouldn't be here now ;)

As for the original subject matter, try posting in the technical part of the forum with some details of what's going wrong (I'm not really sure if you're complaining about being disconnected or something else). If it's disconnection issues try searching for posts by the username 'fearnloathin'. He has some good posts detailing ways to check where the problems are occuring and other info. on connection issues :).
