Chess Problems Freezing Up With Java
I have loaded Java J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10 which runs with Windows XP Home Edition.

When I play chess after approx. 4 or 5 moves the screen locks up my man. I have to hit the start button which will start the clock again but I can't see all of the game. I have to hit start again once my the other player has moved to all my piece to move.

The clock counts down very slowing may move 1 second after 1 minute and the piece will move a a very slow pace.

This problem started after a loaded windows XP home addition to my computer. I found out that I had an illegal copy on my computer of XP so I purchased a legal copy of XP home edition and now I have serious problems only with playing chess through FlyOrDie.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem.
try leaving a post in the chess forum.
I wou;d reccomend doing a defragmentation.
