Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES for short)

Grew up with that console and it is still an old favourite of mine, especially the games super metroid and mario all stars ;)

Nothing will ever outlast the PC...the PC has been my gameing pick since the day your console's came out, shame everything is pointed in the direction of the "Console Generation".

parodius,gradius,chrono trigger and final fantasy 3 were some classic favourites of mine on the snes.although i love the tony hawks games on xbox,ps1&2 and now on the xbox 360 and PC.I'd go Pc but second choice would be xbox(until i get my xbox 360)

I haven't got into the 'new generation' of games consoles yet.

Growing up I had a commodore 64, a SNES and a megadrive. These were brilliant at the time, and some of the games I used to play on those are still exciting even today. The commodore 64 was the first I ever had, and the games seemed very good at the time! Although it was flawed in many ways, I loved it. Then the SNES came along (never had the original NES).. with games like super mario brothers and zelda, both of which had a whole series of brilliant games. Then the megadrive with sonic etc.

I think I still have the 64 and the SNES somewhere, but today I own a PS2 and a gamecube. The PS2 has had some great games in it's history, and I still play them today. Especially the GTA series.

Haven't invested in any of the new consoles yet. But I'm really tempted by the wii and the 360.

Anyone tempted to get a PS3?
