I have the same problem you have. I would spend time watching games from the high ranking then actualy playing them.;)

Nothing is wrong with them, they give us an idea of how good we are provided we play people around that same rank.

And this happens to subscribers as well, not on just this game but many others too. I think it has to do with the rank you and your opponent has.
