Can't chat in games with Linux

Hello everybody,

I have a problem of keyboard locking in all games : when I click on a player to see his rating, after that, I can't chat until I reload the web browser and resign in a game. I'm frustrated because sometimes, players talk to me and don't understand why I don't answer.

I'm under Linux (Ubuntu dapper drake), and I launch games with Mozilla FireFox with Java 1.4 (I tested 1.5 but it does the same thing)

I play on other game servers, it only happens on flyordie. Somebody knows how to fix that?

This happens too me occasionally on Mozilla FireFox, try using Internet Explorer instead.

You don't read well what I wrote. I'm under Linux, not under Windows. Internet Explorer doesn't exist on Linux.

Is there any other internet programs

other than

 FireFox that Linux supports?

Neither Linux nor Firefox are supported by flyordie.

There is a plugin for Mozilla Firefox which allows active-x controls, but I'm not sure whether this works on Linux also, but it works for all Windows OS. Look around the firefox site, or use the other 2 browsers (forgot what they're called aint used Linux in ages.)
