Life is bitter, and its taste is unpleasant; there is nothing in it that amazes or fills the heart with joy. In truth, it is worth nothing, so there is no point for a person to exhaust themselves in pursuit of happiness and bliss within it, for they will find nothing of what they seek. True happiness lies in a completely different realm, far from the falsehoods of this existence. But alas, people have closed their minds to this great secret, and so they neither think of it nor strive for it.
