Connect Four, also known as Four in a Row, is a two-player board game in which the objective is to be the first to
place four of your own discs in a line
. Horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines all count.

The game is played on a vertically suspended board with
7 columns and 6 rows
. Each player has 21 discs, distinguished by color.

Players take turns dropping one disc into a non-full column. The
disc falls to the lowest unoccupied space
in that column. A player wins by placing four of their own discs in a continuous line, whether horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. The game ends in a draw if the board is completely filled and neither player has four in a row.

PopOut
– instead of dropping a new disc, a player may remove one of their own discs from the bottom row.
