Can someone explain the time limits for regular chess. I did not make a move fast enough and it said I lost game. Is there limits per move and for the entire game? Thanks.

Well, in a 20 minutes game, you got 5 minutes for a move. For a 5 minutes game, there's not limit... I guess you could spend the whole game on your 1st move, if you think it's a good thing. Anyhow, if you need more than 5 minutes to plan a move, you're probably in such a bad position that it's not really worth the trouble to go any further ;)
