Ghost, whilst you have points about how the site is run, you have to understand that it is the lack of communication or action which causes regular posts like this one to be made. Peter-27 is just another user frustrated by FoD's failure to commit to their mission statement.

We are convinced that our name, FlyOrDie was as an excellent choice for us because this name symbolises our commitment and enthusiasm which we, like knowledge and professionalism, put behind our products.

Without recognition of your members and their desires, you are failing to show commitment, enthusiasm, knowledge or professionalism. Recognition is not shown by making rash actions, but by showing your users that you are listening and by making changes when they are logical, reasonable and justified. At the very least FoD should communicate, even if only to disagree with ideas which people feel strongly about.

FoD started going downhill after the snooker changes, and it's going even further downhill with the attitude you are showing here Ghost. You are not reacting to user incompetence, but user dissatisfaction from your own incompetance.

i know this,they cant do everything we say,but i still think they should reply saying that they have considered our suggestion or tell us what is wrong with it

Let me attempt to educate a little on this subject..
First off.. a suggestion is just that...a suggestion,
nothing more...nothing less..
Just by submitting a suggestion.....does not require that a reply be made to it....it is viewed by many...site moderators and the site operators included....
if a reply to a suggestion is warranted...it will be made.

More importantly ... when a "suggestion" turns into a
hostile immature demand....as your message certainly appears to have.. it is very likely to be ignored..
aside from the fact that it makes the author appear narrow minded and un-educated about how a complex games site like this one is managed and operated on a day to day basis.

So.. in closing I would "suggest" that the author step back and look at the larger picture...
this is not "Burger King"...you can't have it your way...
it's designed for many, many different personalites and age groups...and I have always said that the developers have done a fine job with the site...considering the global audience that they cater too and attempt to entertain..
it may not be perfect...but nothing in life is...

Peter-27, the mods don't have the power to act on suggestions. I am sure that they can make referals to the peple who run the site, and I believe that some like Veriac give their input into changes. Beyond that there is not much more that they can do. I would imagine that none of us know what resourses are free to go into the games, and it may not be as simple to make changes as some would like to believe.

Its not only suggestions they seem to be ignoring,but requests for help as well.Last week i tried to find out why 2 topics had been deleted and got no response from the mods.Yesterday i spoke to a mod in room 1 of 8 ball,asked for his help,gave details of topics and have had no response again. when i saw this mod earlier today he told he hadn't had time to find out why topics had been deleted.He did,however have plenty of time to play pool and sit in the lobby of room 1 chatting.Now you know why they take no notice.

Thats because many suggestions are just crap.
