Really? That bites.

That use to happen to me when I first playing on FOD a couple of months ago. It doesn't happen anymore.

Do you have the latest verision of Java installed? I updated mine.

And I read in some other posts, because I too use to have the problem...that if you delete your history files, temporary files, and cookies (most important)...that it really helps. 

You can go even further any download a spyware/adware program to scan your computer for such things that distract from FOD. Also, a virus program is always important.

You can even do an extra thing such as disk defragment...this should be done about once a month I hear. This helps make the computer run smoother...along with disk cleanup.

1.) update java
2.) delete everything
3.) scan computer
4.) disk cleanup and disk defragment

Just some suggestions.

After fixing the problem myself...I discovered it is not FODs fault. 

Thanks Doozer if you dont have a clue who I am, I am DeadlyDevil.. Im about to delete my cookies, I want to take a look if there are any softwares I dont need. I got Anti Virus and it were running last week.. It took me about 1 hour because I got too much stuff on my computer. I also have Adware it works really good but I alwatys get displayed we have found 15 cookies that are bad for your pc.
And at Lance Amstrong I got opened a 2nd topic because I was thinking no one was reading my last post.

As has been said in so many other posts on this topic, it isn't usually the FOD server at all but either your own PC or provider.
If it was the FOD server it would happen to a lot of other people at the same time as has been seen before by many. When the FOd server has a problem you will be disconnected and if you try to log back in straight away you will see that instead of the usual 120 ppl in room 1 (any game) there will be a lot less, that shows that the FOD server has a problem.
Your connection to the FOD server goes through at least 5 or more other servers before it gets to FOD, if 1 of them has a problem you will get disconnected from FOD...makes sense doesn't it?
So many people moan about the FOD server without reason because they have no idea about how the internet works, you included devil.
I get D/C from FOD once per month if that and that isn't usually the FOD server at all, the FOD server is relatively good as far as this goes. Stop moaning and learn something about your connection if you are having any problems (the internet is full of information on it) before you start filling this forum with rubbish.

Lol, sounds like you took it personally semi toe....I wasn't getting touchy about it, this is just the 20th post I read saying the same thing about the FOD server when it isn't anything to do with it.
I also answered a load of them telling these ppl that their d/c's rarely have anything to do with FOD but nobody seems to read them, maybe if you read my answer you will notice there isn't any anger in it, just a bit of light criticism....if you don't understand the word look it up in a dictionary...lol

it would be good if there was a reconnection period to allow players to reconnect. it is a fact that computers often go wrong/ crash/ or become disconnected. 
all of us have been disconnected at one time or another.
many other game websites have a reconnection time facility. why doesnt FOD. (rhetorical)
