why do u think there should be a rule that ppl should play more than 1 game?  if u lose, and the person decides not to play again, oh well, move on to your next opponent and win!  

Who cares who started it. It's just a good idea that went unnoticed and needed to be revived by others. It's good that you brought this back up though, because now that's like 3 seperate posts. Yipeekiyiya.

it would be fantastic to be able to commit to playing a set amount of games.

the longer the match the more chance of luck evening between the players therefore fairer

and

you would get quality opponents because bad attitude players would be less likely to play

yea, i heard this idea so many times b4. if fod hasnt implemented it yet wut makes u think they are gna do it just cuz u thought of it:p

I like the idea. I dont htink it should be set to best of 3's or even single games. An amount of even 34 games could be decided upon if the players wish, and every match that is left to be played, the runner has points deducted for each match. Say 5 points per match. If they ran with 3 games left, they lose 15 points.

I think its one of the best ideas i heard of so far in Fod. Also, if the player runs after 1, then that player loses points. I'm actually confident that Fod might want to implement such a rule. I hope they do. Cheers.

You cant make ppl say...but you can take away points.
But what if someone has to go and can only play 1 or 2 games. 
And if you wanted to do this you most likely would have to change the whole thing to something like carom where you make a room and someone joins.
