Fod can't tell how you left the game. It is possible to disconnect yourself so it would be extremely easy to cheat if this rule was introduced. I also d/c a lot and find it frustrating but all you can do really is upgrade your connection.

i have got 512mb connection. i am with demon an internet provider and im having probelms with it. when i click on something sometimes it takes ages and sometimes nothing comes up so i have to refesh the page then click on it again. also when i first log on to the internet it takes ages to load up.

Maybe if someone disconnects, then if they some back in the next 5 minutes they can continue the game from where it was left. If they don't come back they have lost. This concept is used on a lot of other games sites, www.play.com springs to mind first of all.
