I guess you need to subscribe because the PC version of Tanx has no lag (for me)unlike the browser version which lags way too much (for me) to even be able to move(which is wierd because it used to work fine).See if you subscribe the ads go away which makes the gameplay better. So it wouldnt be fair to let unsubscribers play on the download without the ads showing if you didnt pay for them to go away. I think of the Tanx download as a present FlyOrDie made for the people who liked the game enough to subscribe
