This brings up an interesting point about pool on FOD in general. You can hit the ball FAR harder than in real life. I've been playing pool for over 20 years and I think it's part of the problem of so many flukes. Surely it wouldn't be too difficult to correct this. 

it s a fact that the power in the break at fod is much lower than in real life,but in the other shots i agree that its higher.

Actually, it is possible to hit it harder in real life. I've won various festival/competitions and have gained the knack of a power break. Lots of body movement. You need to work on hitting the white (properly) though as it gets difficult with so much movement and speed.

P.S...Don't ruin other people's pool cloths. It's expensive to repair if ripped!

i have the opposite problem with unsubbed names.. ill try and tap the white and it'll fly off at 100 miles a second an ill scratch.. very annoying

I know what he means as well, Sometimes I have hit the ball quite hard and it still taps and my mouse didn't need cleaning, it's happened to me quite a few times.. Just have to put up with it.

clearly if ur balls are all in good poss but if there is a clump. u want to hit it hard to break it thats fine.

i know what flyin means too
sometimes u shoot and flyordie just freezes. it sometimes gives me a no rail when the shot was plenty hard enough and it gets ANNOYING!!!!!!!! 

i can't break as well in f or d as I can i real life and it is because i can't hit the break as hard.

If you hit the ball as hard as you can, you have a good chance of scratching rather than shooting it soft ..
Shooting oft only causes a minor spin forward, not enough to cause you a loss ..
