"How much will one cost?", asked the customer in a hardware store. "A pound" replied the assistant. 

"And how much will two cost?" said the customer. "A pound" replied the assistant. 

"What about ten?" said the customer." That will be two pounds" replied the assistant.  

"OK, I will have 200" said the customer. "That will be three pounds please" said the assistant.

What was the customer buying?
