Two players. One field. No teams.
The field is a square divided into 25 spaces, but only 24 are visible. The 25th exists only when a player discovers it.
Each player begins in opposite corners and may move one space per turn. The objective is not to capture your opponent, but to reach their starting position without ever crossing the exact path they used to reach yours.
Step onto a space already used by your opponent and they gain a point. Cross their complete path and the round ends immediately.
The only fault is moving backwards.
I call this game, Shadowline.
