@Eve: I think it is only because these players play against new players and they don't really want to play for 10 ends...it is just the higher rated player taking advantage of the newbies lack of knowledge. I think it is usually not cheating, just playing against lowrated players, to boost own rating.
Transporting is transferring points to an opponent, by deliberately losing a game. You agree to a fixed number of ends, and then quit during the first end. A lot of the "Top Players" get their points in this way. For example: Matches for fajardo1621 versus: gaspar1998 +2 ~0 2012-12-30 18:50Z gaspar1998 +4 --- 2012-12-30 18:50Z soma776 +2 ~0 2012-12-30 18:45Z soma776 +3 --- 2012-12-30 18:45Z 5:0 win at 18:45 over 2 ends followed by a 6:0 win over 2ends at 18:50. The 2ends in each match finished at the same time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am afraid you just have to accept that cheating goes on, and enjoy the game without worrying too much about how some players come by their points. Good Luck.
