I have enjoyed this site for about 4-6 months now and have to say it is awesome! I love darts and have recently started playing the tank game. HOWEVER- I keep having problems with certain immature users and for the most part I can just ignore them. The person that I am having the biggest problem with happens to be a member I think. His name is HmCM. I feel that he is using his membership to bully other people around who have not paid for a membership and I think that he thinks that he can get away with it. In a sense, those of us who are merely users have paid our share...Well, not actua, but what about the companies that have paid Flyordie.com money for advertisement? You know, some of us buy those products and from that aspect we have the same rights as members do. As I mentioned before I can pretty much just ignore the immature users. This one member ,HmCM keeps making homosexual remarks to me and keeps threatening to have me banned. He is doing this to many of the other users. I know this because they have told me. I don't think he's acting like he's a homosexual I think he's a homophobic person and keeps callingh people "fagets", which is VERY disturbing to me. I am not gay but I don't like to associate with people who are haters like that, and I wonder if there's anything that can be done to fix this problem. I would much appreciate for this to be rectified and so would many of the other users. Thank you, Chris

Grape, if you've taken a screenshot of the guy and sent it to the moderators like Jason suggested you may as well leave this topic as it is and wait to see if the person is dealt with :) I've learnt many times in the past that arguments on the forum won't get you anywhere, the guy who's making homophobic remarks obviously needs to be dealt with but having a pointless argument with Mike won't do anything to make the moderators take you seriously. Just ignore each others' remarks from now on and let the topic go :p

If you've got nothing productive to say in the topic then why say anything at all ? and jason did actually help him by telling him how to take screenshot's and send them, like he stated in his first post he's been here 4-6 months which goes with when his nickname was made, you should read post's before posting childish comments i see everyday from you.

How did he help me? He told me about getting snapshots of the screen and how to send that to a moderator. Man, you are kinda stupid aren't you?
How did Jason help you? You make a new account just to tell moderator's your problem and you know this isn't the place to go to get help. If YOU READ other post, Jason saids about the same thing every single time when it comes to stuff like this.

Oh, and no , if you had read my post you'd have seen that I was supporting us users who haven't paid for memberships..... and that indeed the companies who pay for the ad space pay for our memberships....... but I guess you didn't read it or read only what you wanted to read.

Srry, everyone... I was gone for 3 days going to a campout with my hommies. Anyways..... if your crying over the internet about people bullying you, I wonder what you do in real life ;) I mean sure, the moderators need to look in the situation, but they have bigger fish to fry :| Look it in this way :) Ash from Pokemon saids "I want to catch them all" but the moderators aren't Ash from Pokemon, they CAN'T catch them all!!!!! like Ash does ;) oh yeah... I don't watch Pokemon, I don't know how people came up with that, but I think it's quite funny actually. If this is a person who is affecting other members than that would be a problem for FlyOrDie, but in my opionion I don't think they care as much as they care as members because they pay to keep them where they are today.

yes, there is something that can be done about that. all that's required is a screen shot (or a few, to show more, how abusive it is), and then to send it in to the moderators via the correct channels. if you don't know how to take (and save) screenshots, just use the "search forum" feature, and it should come up fairly quickly. then go to
http://www.flyordie.com/contact.html
and click "moderator contact form". fill in the info... a subject line like "reporting abuse" or something like that, and attach the file showing the abuse. give it a few days, and that person will likely receive a demerit or ban. if they come back again and do the same thing a day or a few days later, just send in another screen shot. each time they get punished, it'll be for a slightly longer time. and if they show they're not going to stop, mods will eventually ban them permanently. --jason
