Hello, i want to make a big connect 4 Tournament.First of all, i dont want to have any suggestions about where,when and how the Tournament should be made because this would be a "Never ending Story"(Player a want this , Player B want this ,....).The Tournament will be started on 1.09.2008 , you can sign up till 24.8.2008.
The Tournament will be on xxxplayokxxx played.The reasons:1.Cheating system 2.Easy register in few seconds 3.Different possible languages 4.Possible to play privat Tournaments 5.Game statistics(no troubles with that: player A says he win and player B says he win,and i dont want to became hundred of screenshots of the games)
The Tournamentwill be a very long one ( i hope that the winner has played more than 1000 games )
Tournament:1min on table 7x6,win:1pt,draw:0,5pt,lose:0pt Group stage :Lets say 32 Players will play , then: 4 Groups a 8 Players,33Players then 7,7,7,6,6; 34 players:7,7,7,7,6; a Group will not be more than 8 Players have.
how to create a group: seeded like the ABC:1=Aaa,2=Aab, 3=Abb.......32=Zzz
Group1:1,8,9,16,17,24,25,32
Group2:2,7,10,15,18,23,26,31 group3 and 4 ......
Of course there will be not exactly 32 players.I will try to create the groups on this system i write before.After the sign up is ending i create the groups during 2 days and then when more than 50 % are unhappy i will cancel the tour from my side.But before you disagree forget not that it is not important to win a group , you must only qualify for next round.
Lets  say 32 players will play then: 4 groups a 8 players and the top4 players of every group get into next round.
33-42Players:top4 players qualify + the best players (by pts-1pt for win and 0,5 pt for draw , not by the tournament pts which are over 1200pts!)fulled the field up to 24 players.
43-64 Players: top4 players qualify+ best players fulled up to 32 players.
65-96players: to 42 players
97-128players:to 64 Players
Seeding position for the next round :1-4:Player with the highest pts from the group winners, 5-8: players which are 2.in there groups.........means :when a 2.playerhave more pts than a winner of other group than he will be seeded by place 5-8 dont matter if he had more pts.
By same pts at the end: 1.The higher Tournament score (everybody starts with 1200ptsthere)2.winning%of the games 3. sign up data
group stage:1Round:1.9.2008/2.9.2008 Player1 decides when the Tournament will be hold up. he must post it 2days before. 2round:3.9.2008/4.9.2008 , the next player decides when the tour will be started.
Every round must be hold up during 2 days.Everybody is allowed to make 2x2 tours as a operatorwhere he decides when the tour will start.Every organizator must say it 2 days before and between 30 min (for example :16 00-16 30-
Then he must must organize the tour between this time (exactly this time!)When the opponents are not there it is there fault so they can not get pts , After the tour ends the organizer must make a next tour during the next 30 min. When the organizer organize to late (also when its only 5 min) the tour this round will be cancelled!. Also when all opponents agree to play 5 min later the tour ,,its not allowed ( i want clearly rules so not to have discussion later)The tour must starts between this time the organizer said it before. When not ,  everybody who play on false time will be disqualified !( its simple :the time is standing there, so no problem for the opponets),everybody must see that he play on right time, and when time is over he can go.I know that no one can play every tour ,and so its nealry fair when everybody in every group can organize 2x2 tours and at the end the players with the biggest pts go to next round (with pts i mean :1pt for win and 0,5 for draw  and not the tournament score you have there !)
A Group of 8 players:16rounds,on every round 2 tours =32days=32tours

When you sign up for the tour you agree with the rules  and that i ve been allowed to disqualify players who cant behave or who cheats.>so dont forget to play only the tour games on your account and only to play tour on right time.When somebody thinks that somebody cheats then please send me a message on playok on my account "connect4tour" and i try to be on there when the next round will start to see if he is cheating or not .
Itry my best to make a Tour which will be fun and fair, and i am sure that the (real) good players agree that this mode is fair on the right gamesite.
I hope a lot of good Players will sign in for the Tour, i will update every week who sign in and when the Tour started i will updated every round (every2.day) with the group standings and the times for the next tours. I will see when till next sunday not more than 10 players sign in , i will cancel it from my side, cause this would not make a sense.
