Well known bug that needs fixing, I assume FOD know about it as it's been brought up time after time on the forum. [b[Hopefully

I'm glad to see someone finally bring this up. I found another "bug" if you like but that is in darts cricket..
 
When I finish and win the game it is not registered and then the opponant finish's his/her game "2nd" and then wins....:@

Please sort this out FOD.. I dunno if it IS  a bug or program.

Thas because you need to have higher points than them b4 you finish ;)

What fly or die need to do to fix this problem in snooker is easy give me the four points for the time out then its my turn to play the shot (or pass).
its unfair and well known that you can let the time run out and win the game of snooker by this CHEAT,

The moderators cannot change the bug, they don't program the game, this is an issue for OPERATOR to address and bring up with his programming department.

The reason it happens I think (Someone more aware in the details of snooker rules can confirm this :)) is because if you foul on the black with less than 7 points between the players' scores then it ends the game. Obviously FOD have to have a time out rule but because this is seen as a foul it will end the game but only give 4 points. This needs sorting so that a time out foul does not end the game or the time out gives 7 points ;).

i agree the mods cant change the program but arent they here to stop people cheating?

or should we all do this as if its alright and not cheating?

It's not considered cheating, as it is the rule of the game...albeit a not so good one.

in real life snooker it would not be a rule. any foul on a colour what u nominate(need a colour nomination feature) you get points for what its worth.

if you do a foul on the blue you would get 5 points no matter what, even if you hit a red. same for pink with 6.

and Black is 7 points no-matter what

Anyone actually caught doing this will be considered to be abusing a known bug and dealt with appropriately. 

If they happen to have the crown, then its quite conceivable that it would be removed, along with all their points.

Well assuming like you said Veriac, that this is a known bug, does this mean it's being dealt with/looked into currently?

I have noticed that even if u dont let the timer run out and u just pot the white or dont hit hard enough... u still win the game if u are 7 points up.... if however u hit the black then foul it goes to tie break...maybe u should just fight fire with fire and play along with it...

it is very frustrating playing your best all through the frame and then for this to happen at the end -

if it ever happens again i'll be sure to get screen shots 
and pass them on

This happend to me again (black remains "player" lets the clock run out)...Im not allowed to name the player, 
I bring this up again because at the end of the game there is nothing to take a ss of, No score no foul no time out etc, 
Just the banner saying -you lost the game-  what it dosent say is the "player" cheated, There is no way to stop this from happening even though Veriac said this was a cheat and "players" would be punished if they are caught doing this-they cant be punished because there is no way of proving it or catching them 
 No ss at end = no cheat
HOW CAN WE STOP THIS ... Veriac?
