I can't see the time counter after autentication

After writing my nick and password, the browser shows the flyordie ad, but the time counter does not appear, so the game does not start.
I have java and java applets enabled. My browser is firefox 2.0. It does not work on windows xp, but it works on ubuntu linux. Other browsers on windows have the same problem. Only firefox on ubuntu correctly loads the whole page.
I connect to flyordie through a proxy, but this was not a problem when I connect with firefox on ubuntu.

I cant either and i paid for a year subcription yesterday!!!!!!

I did all that but still get black screen.Its not a virus either ive ran afull scan on my computer.

Delete Temp Int files,,,update java.....re-boot pc.

Yeah i updated java and deleted temp files. Same Problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
