Personally, I agree that intellegence is NOT just book-learning--there is a lot more to it than that. I, humbly, think I am a VERY intellegent person and I am told I am funny too (how I don't know and I don't like to be told that since it makes me blush, and a blushing Ghost is not a pretty sight :p), but unfortunately, I am cursed with a type of Autism that lets me be high-functioning (as in I can tie my shoes and take care of myself with no help) but lacking in social skills in real time (I can't STAND to be around people, believe it or not!) and other things like I can't read body language at all. The name of the Autism is Asperger's Syndrome, if anyone cares to look it up. 

Anyhow, I think I would be a great Mod, but I am also smart enough to know that I have misbehaved on FOD and have gotten demmed and banned (SHOCK!!) on occasion, so I guess I am out of the running. Oh well. I will continue to play pool and chat occasionally. See ya at the tables!

(Try not to beat me too badly guys! I really am not that good, even after over 4500 games!!)

At school i dont ever study and i get Straight As, while others struggle to get Cs even if they study all day. Im outside playing Football (Soccer) in the snow while all my friends are inside studying. 

I got 124, I would have gotten better, i have incredible common sence, my intelligence is in my opinion and many others who know me in rl amazing since i always outsmart people...i could get away with any crime...ive gotten away with cheating on a test, changing my test scores, tainting my schools computers, acting as people for tactical purposes...i mean i could go on forever i always never get caught in hide and seek i dont know why this is such a gift...

common sense is the foundation on which you build your intelligence on..... learning by mistakes is a good example.... if you dont learn by your mistakes then u have no sense youve learned nothing so you havea low intelligence because you think you kno it all lol ...(not aimed at anyone just in general lol)

Good points there by fear, the thing is, theres different forms of intelligence, educational wise is only one area of the massive spectrum, for example, common sense........

You need a lot of common sense to be a good mod, lord knows theres some lacking at the moment, and an IQ test simply doesnt cover that enough for it to be a worthy way of judging intelligence.

I got 117, didn't like it though it was based largely on language. Would have liked to have seen some logic puzzles or pretty pictures :p

You didn't read my previous post, I can test as high as I would like or I can test as low as I want.  The test is so simple you can arrange what IQ you would like at any given moment, every IQ test I ever taken in school I put myself 95 everytime (this way I would be average B-)) I can go higher or lower depending on my mood.  It's easy to dupe that test it's ridiculous.

Obviously fear u got a low score lol...... but i agree intelligence doesnt change it grows if you nurture it, every animal has 1 thing.... a Zest for knowledge, unless they fall into the many millions who think wen they reach the age of leaving school they know everything because being an adult means your never wrong, how do i put it then fear..... APTITUDE and ATTITUDE........ which i see lacking in one or two moderators who hold senseless grudges.
I know im not the first to be treated like this... so how about just say in a post YES or NO if they have been treated unfairly and can do NOTHING about it.

I'd like to add this was only with one or 2 mods.... the rest ive chatted to and played and needed help and advice from have all been professional and helpful.

In honesty Dave is one of the few people on this site that actually type in proper english, there are a few more but can't remember their names of the top of my head.  Implementing this idea to become a mod is insane, first of all intelligence can't be guaged by a piece of paper with questions (or in this case an internet site) our intellect is ever changing by the second, can't test intelligence.

i didnt ask for the link but im sure fod could include it on their application to be a mod...... but thanx it was fun....question is do ''peoples IQ and mental state come into concideration when applying to be a mod''

IQ test proves nothing but your ability to fall into the gigantic pit known as "I'm smart, your not"...keep in mind a lot of people will test over average on any given online IQ test, mainly because they are not actual IQ tests let alone the one's that are legite are very easy to form into what you would like your IQ to be (trust me I did all through school to get my IQ to set 95).  Also remember that these are the same people that when online type like this "r you ready 4 a gm?".

I got 124 on that test, I don't know how good that is, I think the average is something like 90-110 so it's alright.
