Hi all,

I just wondered if there were ever going to be any sort of chess tourny's ??

or maybe a way of doing some sort of, either a European group stage, and a World group stage, then the best 5 of each play in a semi knock-out stage, which then leads onto a chess final ??

i know, what with time differences, that this maybe be a logistical nightmare... but if the semi and finals were played on a weekend, and you were emailed your time slot. then this shouldnt be a problem.

Also, only registered players could take part. maybe an incentive for ppl to join?

the winner would then get a FREE yrs subscription...

any better ideas ??

maybe a ladder tourney ?? so when the tourneys are in the room, whoever is in there at the time could play them ? with maybe bonus points added to your rating for winning ??
