What a terrible match, first half was ok, especially with that early goal but 2nd half was awful. If paraguay had scored there was no way we could pull it back. Hardly anything happend and if England continue to play that bad we arn't gonna go far. Also the ref was an idiot!!!!!

The problem with our next match, is that we are playing Trinidad
and
Tobago, which is a problem, as this means that we will be playing two teams at the same time. I cant see how we can beat 22 players. Suit.
It's better to peak later in the competition... Actually, this is typical of Ericson and the reason why he has to go. They talk big before the game saying that they will attack, then when it comes to playing they go all lame and defensive. They'll get ripped apart by the big teams if they don't sort it out.
Yeah! Means some players can get rested to save 'em getting injured. First half was great..Gerrard and Cole both played well. 2nd half was a waste of time, i'm just glad paraguay never scored. Hopefully they give a better performance against T & T and get the victory that is needed.
Even if we do play like that against sweden, it won't matter if we beat trinidad and tabago as we would already be through ;)
If we play against Sweden the way we did today, we're gonna get pasted. All credit to Joe Cole (even though he did abit of time wasting to get some water...twice), he played both roles as centre mid and attacking mid very well. However, why did he decide to play Hargreaves? The last world cup he did nothing and i don't expect any difference so why put him in the team? All in all a good day though as Sweden drew 0-0. P.S. The ref WAS an idiot!
