Hi, right for some reason my media players changed, like when im listenin to music or video's etc its like its being played in a big hall :| ive tryed evrything to fix it with no avail :| was wonderin if anyone could give me instructions or summat how to sort it. ty
have you checked sound set up may have chanched speaker setting i.e desktop speks or 5.1 surond sound just a thought
Just download windows media player again, this should sought the problem out.

That's very random, it could also be a setting such as con mention, a corrupt sound driver, the sound card itself or even the processor being too busy to run the media player properly.

Maybe you are listening to your computer in a big hall?

This would certainly account for the effects you seem to be hearing.

 However, have you tried using a different set of speakers? Or even headphones...

If it sounds like your in a big room, it may be because you are experiencing residual echo effects left by the woofer. These can be modified somehow. Not sure though.
