Fighting Other Players
I am fairly new and I don't "get" why we fight others. What are the advantages and disadvantages? I have read in the on line guides that an arrow appears next to the name of a player I am able to attack but I haven't seen one yet? Am I doing something wrong? I have been attacked twice. Won 1 lost 1.
famepoints and experience points. Famepoints is just a ranking of how well you did in Pvp. you get exp points if you win just like if you defeated a monster of equal size.

A handy advantage of PvP is that it doesnt use up clicks...
It does use clicks, but only for the agressor. The defending player uses no clicks during PvP
Thanks for the replies, but where should I look for the arrow that indicates I can attack?
next to the player's name on the text screen.

Thanks Malikar, but all I ever see there is a question mark in brackets.
R u clicking on the players name on the original screen (the normal one of larkinor)? If so you could be clicking on the person's name... If you do, it will show the box with that persons "stat sheet" and the little ? next to his/her name.
the arrow that I'm talking about is on the original screen. It could be, I suppose, a glitch, but I HIGHLY doubt it.

Malikar, you were right. I was clicking on the player name and going to that screen. For some reason I didn't see the little arrow on the player original screen. Wow, I feel like an idiot!!! Thanks very much. This might be fun to do!
