Why your team mates bail on you!

So I've been here a little while and already learned some important lessons.  I enjoy the game, and have met some pretty good people who play fair regardless of ranking. You learn who you can trust and who's a pretty good person. I've had people ask me to "team" with them in a game, and have asked people to "team" with me.  We have fought other teams and had a good time.

However......

I have already had the unfortunate luck of running into some "not so good" and dishonest, dishonorable people.  They ask you to join their team or they join your team in a battle, and then bail on you when things seem to get too hot for them.  Or they turn on you.  I think the following reasons tell why:

1. No guts-  Just can't handle the heat.

2. Lack of character-  They "team" with you, and then you end up with them putting missiles up your tailpipe because they betray you.  Or they secretly "team" with someone else who comes in and don't have the guts to tell you and then shoot you down (like casio666). Then they laugh about their betrayal. It may be a game, but games seem to reveal a person's true character.  More than likely they are like that in real life too.

3. Lack of integrity-  Some people are just plain dishonest, and their word or promise means nothing.  The word "loyalty" is not in their vocabulary.

4. Points cripples-  Some people will bail on you and not even let you know they are leaving because they're so afraid they may lose a few precious points or or so-called rank. Then you end up getting slaughtered by the other team because you're by yourself.  Heck, my rate goes up and down like a yo-yo.  I really don't care about points. I'm here to have fun. If I'm teamed with someone and we're in a fight, I'm not gonna leave them NO MATTER WHAT!  Loyalty should count for something, and so should your word to another player. 

5. Cowardice-  See number 4.

6.  Place your favorite reason here.  Most of you probably have one.

I'd like to thank those of you that I have met that have been really great players, high rank or none. You've taken the time to talk to me, and we have laughed together at some of the things that happen.  Thanks for your patience and good games. Sorry this has been long, but needed to vent.  And if I get "demerits" for speaking my mind, well, go ahead someone and take away my "0" points!  Just being honest. And if a player is at "0" points, they've got no where to go but up!  A player in that position may be very dangerous....  

Those of you who get mad reading the list... Go in your bathroom, look in the mirror, and take some time to evaluate yourself.

Many good points in your post Raimon. You know it never fails to amaze me just how low some ppl are ready to stoop in the pursuit of worthless boreballs like tanx points, but What ever they do, do not get angry, it makes you miss your target. Also it is plain, that many little kids and special needs ppl play Tanx. So try to find forgivness in your hart for them.

Retards who turn on others should get a piece of their mind. But, probably the only reason why they do it, is cause they were treated the same way. like my father says... " They get their butt(A**) handed to them.

That's not the real Mexicanrebel. The real Mex is a totally true tanx player, devoted to the game, and does not cheat. He makes the game a lot more enjoyable for many of us, and has plenty of character.
