this a change or a mistake in the game? In 9-ball the balls are setup random.You guys do know this can't be called 9-ball the way its racked.....I was just wondering plz ansewer

Actually, according to official 9 Ball rules, the only rule with respect to the placement of the balls in the rack is that the 9 ball has to be in the center. It is not required that the other numbered balls be placed in any particular order. That notwithstanding, in most of the pool halls I play in, it is common practice to rack the balls in order with exception of the 9, which always goes in the middle. [img=

I think it was a very good idea to do the random rack for 9-ball. Now all you 2-9 players out there need to find a better break. ;)
