My demerit has finally been removed recently and I just wanted to say that Flyordie has problems that need to be dealt with immediately.
First let’s start with the rules of Flyordie. I have been given a demerit because of breaking rule 5.5. It states Flyordie will not tolerate using multiple nicks to avoid banishments. In addition it adds please also see rule 3.12 which states lending your nickname to other players. I had two names in the same room, NooB OwNaGe and another name (I do not want my other name mention) the other name had a demerit. Shortly I had received a demerit. To my wonder, did I get a demerit because of having two names at once in the same room or having my other name with a demerit? I wasn't trying to avoid banishment. Does having a demerit and being able to enter a room mean I'm avoiding banishment while I had NooB OwNaGe in the same room? I then went to find a moderator; I came across Magician and started to talk to him. But unfortuntely he was too busy playing another player and then avoided me completely! I proceeded to talk to Veriac, another mod and just left while I was talking to him.
In this matter I believe that moderator should warn a player that there is breaking a rule or rules and should tell them before giving them a demerit. In my case I wasn't cheating just violating a rule I wasn't aware of.
Another matter is that rules are almost hard to find while in the lobby. The circle with the question mark in it is literally the circumference of an eraser on a pencil.
How can Flyordie expect to have someone read the rules if it is so small especially if it was someone's first time playing the game.
Yes subscribing can give you the ability to play in a tournament, full control to pc game and more. But once your have done something wrong like I have without knowing it, it is basically that just stole your money. Once demerit, you can no longer have the benefit winning a prize in a tournament. You can still participate but if you have won 1st place you will get nothing at all. I know this because it has happen to me.
People have complained about the ads because it's annoying and slows down your computer. I have come across a Real Arcade about a year and a half ago and it will give you one ad, but will not lag because there is no movement within the ad. You should find this highly useful for those who have slow computers. You can download real arcade at www.realacrade.com. and it is for free. It can only give you rooms 1-4 in 8-ball, room 1 in 9-ball and rooms 1 and 2 in snooker. If you need to enter other rooms simply go the Flyordie website.
For the moderators they need to do their jobs. Mods such as Magician said to me that he does not unmute demerit players because he says he does not want to. I disagree with that because what if that person is something important like I had in my situation. I sometimes see mods just playing games and for the points. Some of them socialize with others for a long period of time which they should be periodically checking rooms and maintain control if cheating is about. I might be wrong about this but I am just suggesting an idea.
As I read forum from time to time I notice many people complaining about why they cannot enter rooms, problem with java and so forth. My solution is have a separate section in forum explaining common question, sort of like a troubleshoot. I believe this will be highly effective to answer these problems.
Where is most of the money that we subscribe? I have read somewhere that simply clicking an ad given by Flyordie gives them $20 or so said by SAMARAI. If this is true then why do we still have problems such as the infamous disconnection? Shouldn't it be dealt the best way possible? A disconnect can be because of lost of internet connection but there could be other reasons. Today I had a match with Super Polack and it just froze for about 10 minutes. I then later disconnected and he Polack refused to play me because he thought I was hacking. Why would I hack to make myself lose points? Another funny thing was about a month ago when I played Concept. There a problem with the server and we couldn't agree whether one of us should leave. The game was still frozen for about 1 hour! Until Erica made one of us leave.
There have been a few updates on pc game such as 1.20 to 1.25. The only update was side spin and different graphics. After about 4 updates of the pc game we only get this? So what are we subscribing for? If more updates are to proceed then there should be a small box indicating the new updates.
To put this to my point of view here are the questions that I would like to be answered by anyone including moderators and the OPERATOR.
1) Should moderators warn other players that they are violating a rule or rules before setting a demerit?
2) Can the rules be easier to see so all players who enter the room are able to view it?
3) Should Flyordie put a separate section for people who have problems about playing the game?
4) Should Flyordie do more about these problems such as disconnecting or the server freezing so these problems would barely persist?
These are what I am mainly concerned with. I will continue to post any problems that I have found.
P.S I would like these to be answered before if for some reason is deleted.

I'd be willing to bet your name was demerited because you were avoding punishment. In my personal opinon FOD should not allow secound nicks of any sort. (with out consent of FOD) Its rather unsportsmanlike to be sitting there playing your hardest against sombody with the same rating only to find out that his/her other name has a much higher rating. Mods un-muting players ??? What good would a demerit be ?? I do not belive Mods should be inclined to unmute players because once they unmute a player that player can saying anything without further punishment because the mod has un "unmuted them at his/her own risk." You cant win a turny medal now :| You can only blame yourself. Where is all the money going ?? The new rooms of course.

How do you know its all FlyOrDie. It might not be FlyOrDie or your comp. There is stuff in between.
How many people start playing on fod using an unsubscribed nick then use a new nick when they actually start to subscribe, does this mean that they too have broken the multi nick rule, or is having two nicks in this instance okay?
In answer to your first query, if you have multiple names and one name receives a ban OR a demerit, then any other names you log in for the duration of the initial punishment can also be given a demerit/ban for attempting to avoid the initial one.

Whenever you create a name, or log into a room you are reminded to abide by the rules. When you create a name, you MUST accept the rules before it will let you create a nickname. Moderators cannot be held accountable if players do not bother to actually read the rules. You have already agreed to them, and

symbol and a page will appear with the rules in them. If you using the download version, then that button is not there. However, the rules are on the main page should you wish to remind yourself of what they are.

Flyordie does NOT promise a service which will be error free. No on-online gaming site will ever do that because there are so many factors involved and they cannot control them all. Server freezes and/or disconnections are not always the fault of Flyordie. There is nothing to stop you having multiple names. However if ANY of your names recieves a ban/demerit and you then log in another of your names it will be considered as an attempt to avoid the punishment issued on the first name, and dealt with accordingly. Veriac (Flyordie Moderator)
Adds are the way to promote and advertise products, ofcoarse putting the squeeze on the profit within the company to make the Consumer you into Well you get absorb the changes made through out the number of years, yet the experience is still fun and that is why we are all here isnt it? How ever it is everyones right to play in different names for the security and wellbeing of the perants allowing their kids that should not be subjected to the language that is poured into lobbys or games. Or if someone is getting harassed, or just privacy reasons,If you wish to remain Annonymous??So be it thats is your decision. Although having multi-nicknames in the one room is not on Not fair to those being unhappy due to the fact that they Paying their way purchasing full versions with extra privilidges makes them rattled as it would would. Everyone in here including the Moderators used to have various nickames but who cares those days were long before the color of money made it's presence . FlyOrDie is still a great online amusement provider even if it's flooded with adverts..Got better things to worry about.
Ive just played this guy noob ownage and beat him 2-1... i then went into hamsterman and boomers game were he then followed me and wudnt shut up throwing remarks at me about how lucky i am etc and then started provoking hamsterman and saying ss(screenshot) this guy is nothin but a moaning bad loser and can get annoying when he goes on for like 20 mins non stop moaning...
I see this is an older post... but I feel compelled to respond to a few points brought up anyway... your questions are as follows: 1) Should moderators warn other players that they are violating a rule or rules before setting a demerit? my response: warnings are often given, however in most cases they are ignored and the situation escalates...this is why demerit awards are imposed in the first place. they are considered a "first step" at eliminating bad behavior... while still allowing the offender to remain and play on the site. 2) Can the rules be easier to see so all players who enter the room are able to view it? my response: as indicated in another reply...there is a check-box during the nick name registration process...it is in the users own best interest to become familiar with them as soon as possible. 3) Should Flyordie put a separate section for people who have problems about playing the game? my response: there is...and always has been..... a support area available on the site.

4) Should Flyordie do more about these problems such as disconnecting or the server freezing so these problems would barely persist? my response: connectivity issues are a constant on the internet... just because one experiences a performance issue on the site.. does not mean it is site related....the reasons are to numerous to mention. and lastly, a personal comment regarding your "For the moderators they need to do their jobs" statement....which smacks of hostility I will add... we do perform our jobs...and we do it well...every single one of us...all moderators were players long before we were selected as moderators....and why were we selected? because we have had zero difficulty in compliance with the rules of use....it's really common sense actually...would one go visit a friends home or a upscale establishment such as a restaurant or hotel and act like an idiot in real life? seems doubtful.....but it does happen.....and those type of individuals are handled in a similar manner...they are either asked to leave..... or they are kicked out.. simple logic. I don't mean to sound condecending but.. it's situations like this that re-enforce the need for site moderation....just go to any "premium content" web site and you will most likely see the same kind of moderation activity. yea i agree with ghost..but there are mods who have no idea of what the r doing..i wont mention any names but last nite i was banned for forged nick..i talked to that mod that banned me nd i told her it was my own name i forged--so she sed "then ill ban you for havin 2 names in the same room"..?:| cmon i only had 1 name then i brought in my subscribed name wen i was banned..so she still doesnt kno wut shes doing..i informed her on this..then she sed she'll ban me for avoiding demerit? ha! thats a reason but the others were wrong..shouldnt mods ask about forged nicks b4 they do anything..this tells me this mod doesnt deserve to b on the team..maybe veriac ghostrider or sundown shud train this mod to act proplery? i think spankymonkey knos which mod im talkin bout :| neway this site is getn annoyin i cant wait till my sub runs out
