Tell us what is the best film you have ever seen in your life and that you could watch it over and over again. Mine has got to be Enemy At The Gates or The Shawshank Redemption. Pure class!

i'd say the matrix trilogy donnie darko lord of the rings the fellowship (only one ive seen) jurassic park 1 (originals always the best) meet the parents and lastly, snatch

I studied film for a while in college. While all of the movies listed are SUPERB, (both cinamatically and story line), I have to look back at some of the groundbreaking films as well. The Wizard of Oz, for one of the first color movies with special effects for the time, and The ghost and Mrs. Muire, the old black and white version, for realistic scenery and sugestion of a otherworldly love affair(unheard of at the time). Also check out Tarzan Takes a Mate. Underwater filming and one of the first nude scenes to be shown to the general masses, (Jane skinny dipping, full frontal). But yes LOR, I have to say I could watch over and over. An incredible story to begin with, the film is a mastery of realism in an unreal world. So many excellant movies these days!
Alien & Aliens would be on the top of my list.. but there are so many others.. I do have something to share though in this topic.. one can spend a few hours on this site if nothing better to do :p have fun !

I liked pirates of the ca. (cant spell it :p) lord of the rings only because of the action and stuff, as for the story, i never read em ?:|
