 You don't need to delete an account in order to have a new name..All you have to do is..get a new email address then register with your new name..

It is still a valid question. IF Korbie wants a fresh start from that pacific name, then i don't see anything wrong with that. Korbie, i suggest you get some support from - support@flyordie.com and ask them to remove your name from their database, i shouldn't expect FlyOrDie to decline your request.

I think the problem lies in the potential security risks of allowing users to delete accounts via the web...even via email there are ways to make false account deletion requests...which is why FlyOrDie may almost never delete accounts unless they have been inactive for a long period of time.

There is no way to prove that it's him wanting to delete the name, there is no way of proving that like the change of a subscribed name for example, where all you have to do is give specific information of your purchase. Non-subscribed names are different, as you don't pay or anything to register. 

Best thing is to just register a very similar name.

In order to have an account deleted, the minimum information required is likely to be as follows :

1 - Provide your Original Order ID
2 - Use the correct, registered email for the nickname

IF you are able to provide this then in theory it would be sufficient for FOD to delete the account. This is of course only applies to Subscribed Names.

FOD may still ask for additional information or confirmation of the deletion before it takes place.

Of course, all of the above assumes that FOD are willing to delete accounts at all, so i guess only Da Operator can really say for certain.
