Like a lot of the other talk in here, I have experienced this lately. My last opponent (Honer is witness to it and has screenshots) left in the last end before even throwing a rock. This needs to be fixed ASAP for the integrity of the game.

I appreciate your prompt reply. How does this glitch get rectified? Up 3 points after penultimate end and quitting, results in giving up 2 points and winning the game. However there are still 8 stones remaining for each player. If someone quits, they forfeit their 8 stones, leaving 8 points for the non offending player.

Hi, I guess the screenshot is too big in terms of kilobytes. There are free sites on the internet to make it smaller. You can upload *jpg, *png and *gif files I'd recommend a *jpg file.

Nothing still has been done to rectify people leaving after the penultimate end up 3 points, and winning the game. Is there a way to rectify this issue?

- the thing is this issue is a balance between 2 problems
-PROBLEM 1 : you spend up to 80 minutes playing a game just to have the opponent leave in the last end when they are up by 3 > they win the match by 1 points
notes about problem 1 : from what i understand you used to be awarded 3 for the first end after your opponent leaves + 2 more for each additional end > i think it was changed not long ago to 2 for all ends
- leaving with 3 point lead is very poor sportsmanship when your opponent has the last stone of the end ie. hammer
PROBLEM 2 : if the game were to be changed to make it that if you leave for any reason you lose , or 8 points per end after opponent leaves we will have "troll players" challenging to many end games and not playing the game to annoy and wait ''till you give up
When that happens now you only have to play a few ends alone to make the points necessary to be able to leave and not lose points >eg. 8 end game you need to play 2 ends alone to get suficient points that you may leave
May i suggest that the game is modified to 4 points for the first end that opponent leaves and 2 for every end beyond that
it should be a very easy modification in the code

I agree but I have another suggestion : Easier, Clearer, Simpler. "When a player leave the game (for whatever reason) I loose the game". It is the only fair applicable rule when "Volontary" or "Unvoluntary" cannot be discriminated I cannot understand why moderators do nothing about this issue which have been raised since monthes.
guys , please consider this balance and lets try to get a consensus on how many points to award when opponent leaves 4 for the end they leave then 2s for the rest means the opponent needs to be up 5 to leave if they want the win between 4 and 8 points works for the end they leave , then a lower number for the rest , that way they cant make you play alone for too many ends , 8 for end they leave then 1 for rest of ends works too lets get a vote going

How about if a player leaves early, the came is conceded. Also, if a player doesn't throw eight rocks in an end, the game is also conceded.
