Settings problem after update

Help, I have updated to Windows 12 and can't change any settings. Wish to have a black background etc but nothing happens when I toggle the settings options. Is there a remedy ? or even a browser that I can add in order to do this ? I am using Opera browser

here is an answer.
* At the moment, Windows 12 does not exist yet. Microsoft is currently working on Windows 11 and recently released the 24H22 update. There is no official announcement about Windows 12 yet, but rumors suggest that it could be released towards the end of 2024.

Microsoft also showed a prototype design for Windows 12, which includes changes to the lock screen and notification, as well as the integration of artificial intelligence.
