Doubles
I have been playing with a friend every week for years. I have been tracking doubles for the past six months, and every series we play, he gets more than twice the number of doubles than I do. It would never happen if we were rolling dice. Why is this happening? It cannot be randssom luck for such a long period of time.
Hi,
HarveyM  =  2769 game %51 win

Todd R( your friend)  = 2180 game %51 win

Since both of you have the same win percentage, let's examine your luck by assuming 0 (equal).

I evaluate x2 and x4 gains by accepting them as 1.

Center HarveyM nickname.
Yesterday = 3 win 9 lost.
10 oct = 4 win 1 lost.
5 oct = 3 win 5 lost.
18 sep = 5 win 5 lost.
12 sep = 3 win 3 lost.
28 aug = 7 win 6 lost.
21 aug= 6 win 6 lost.
7 aug= 6 win 6 lost.
31 jul = 2 win 4 lost.
17 jul = 8 win 9 lost.
10 jul = 5 win 5 lost.
3 jul = 3 win 6 lost.
26 jun = 7 win 4 lost.
22 jun = 5 win 12 lost.
19 jun= 11 win 10 lost.
12 jun= 11 win 10 lost.

Total : 188 game. 89 win 99 lost .  %48 win %52 lost.
Result= everything looks normal.

That's your analysis? Kindly explain why I see three doubles in a row (Probability = 0.46%) so often. I've actually seen the same doubles 3x in a row (Probability 1/46,656 or 0.0021%) twice. Moreover, there are too many "perfect rolls."

Now this goes both ways, but its still ridiculous.
I agree. It certainly appears that something is wrong when one person has twice as many doubles as the other person they play weekly and we have kept records. To say that both parties win 51% of the time, does not take into account the doubles. If the doubles were more random than one player would win more than the other by a significant amount. How about eliminating doubles!!
